The Long paddock – this is a Queensland government website that provides information on the longer term weather patters expected in Queensland.
Australian Bureau of Meteorology – this website provides you information on all things related to the climate and weather.
Especially useful on the Bureau of Meterology website is the Radar Loops. Click on this link and then select the location that is closest to you for the latest radar images. The loop feature provides the 4 latest images one after the other so you can see rainfall and storm front movements.
Insects
Pestweb Gives details about a regional insect pest-monitoring program and web based information-sharing tool for farmers and researchers in the Northern Rivers. Farmer volunteers monitor insect populations during the season and the results are uploaded to an online database where the information is stored and shared with other volunteer monitors and researchers.

NSW Department of Primary Industries – The website provides information on all aspects of farming. There are useful resources such as information on soil health and organic production on this website. For specific information related to macadamia production follow this link to Nuts.
